High volume is probably the reason why the ATR that was more than double the last 10 days average. Although WTI went down $1.36 there were many good trading opportunities especially at the beginning of the session.

WTI went down $1.06 with an average ATR that produced only winning trades. I also wondered why this sucker had gone up while the inventory has only been increasing since 15 November.

I think that the drop will come but not today. WTI went up $1.28 today with a high ATR that basically produced only one trade on the upside.

WTI went up only 24¢ today with a below average ATR that produced 4 good trades in a shortened session.

WTI went down 58¢ or 2% today but it was a good trading day with those ups and downs.

WTI recovered a little going up 40¢ but the low ATR did not produce good trades. In any case it's the worst trading week of the year.

i suspect they have no intention of moving wti anywhere of significance, its just wild swings to catch traders (break out) out

Today is totally the opposite of yesterday. WTI went up only 23¢ with a low ATR that produced good trades. The inventory decrease of 4.79 million barrels had only a little effect on the price at least for today.

Sorry I posted the wrong WTI chart here is the right one.

bottom effects but not enough yet , likely do again and again before set for Big UP!recently it got life breaking limit 50.39 level but not enough yet , another limit 55.72 and waiting breakout towards bottom again!

Even with crude flirting with pushing pass $50, it feels like a big drop may come first. May just stay out of the market and wait and see

WTI flirted with $50 today reaching a high of $49.68 before dropping like a stone ending the day with a $1.05 loss.
