still only retracement in a bull market boys. i see accumulation and remain long. we'll see.

i could see a dip down to 43.19 ish and the rally up.

note crude hit the inv h&s target and dropped.

Upward trendline to be tested soon.
There are few strong bullish-bars, majority are bearish - more reason why MM will pull price up.
Since I'm ending up with conflicting bias, I think it is best for me to stay out.

WTI went up 50¢ today with a high ATR that only produced 4 good trades and 1 break even trade. I could not ask for much more.

Good for you!!
Despite the huge moves, yesterday would have been a loosing day if I traded. I would have entered too late and held-on to bad trades longer than necessary.
I surely will not be joining the ride to $50, . I still have a sell bias, and have learnt to stay out during times like this.

Kindly share the link for learning this your system, I read it a while back, I but did not fully understand what you are discussing.

I think that WTI will only go up if the Covid vaccination is successful and temperature in the north hemisphere will get colder. Here is the system again but I'm not sure if I included the info text file that shows links to some of the problems with the Half Trend TT that can easily be solved with experience.

WTI went up 56¢ or 1% today but the straight up move produced a good trade.

I guess you are right because the ATR was similar to yesterday's but the 50¢ price increase produced better trades.

nothing like making a call and then not trading it. sums up the last week for me. watching too many things and traded myself out of a number of positions like crude.

Surprisingly higher than expected volume today in the CL CME futures contract. I thought the usual holiday low liquidity period would've started by now.
