Thanks a lot for this info Kwame, I was getting ready for a situation when US-producers makes "such announcement", now I know that it will never happen

Every legislation has its merits and demerits - then the most reasonable way will be for OPEC/Saudi/Russia to periodically bring oil-price down.

I missed a good opportunity (got some pennies) last time it was around $26 - same talks, same fears - it bounced wildly!
Looking at larger timeframe:
the maximum downturn is about -22 from here (down to 0, which will not happen)
the maximum upturn is about (?) +30 +40 +100...
So where is the possibility to take more ???

expecting a rejection soon, if not $20 is a nice round number that i expect will be defended

Same here buddy. A few buck every 5/10% down.....my average is 26 for now.

Tomorrow i'll add way more if we clear 20 dollars.

saudi arabia increased production in response to russia not agreeing to cut production and started a price war. that along with covid 19 is causing oil to drop

I guess i'll wake up with crude below 20 tomorrow, we are approaching it

It reminds me of a move of coffee below 90 dollars while producers couldn't make any money for weeks...then it cleared the sky

feels almost like a deliberate move to margin call oil longs. there must have been a ton of them today
