I am sorry you took it this way, all I was asking for is your own personal take on trading the MML Lines.

YOUR opinion matters, not some guy on a video. If you feel you are wasting your time, that's your decision, some of your charts were useful, at least

it might show others, if not me , another way to trade or even incorporate into their trading.

Why is it we have to walk around on Egg Shells around you ?

There is no Game. It is just your imagination.

You obviously keep skipping the comments made by myself & others on this thread, and just after you post a random chart without annotations or commentary,

when anyone asks a question or queries you, you promptly delete your posts.

You have a History of doing this. And still doing it.

It begs the question, as you have made up your mind that you have no interest in mine or anyone elses method of trading,

then why are you here and what is your agenda ?

Thoughts:

My trading session is New York 8:00 a.m. till 11:30 and I will take trades anytime in that window.

The market owes me nothing.. anything at anytime can happen..

With that said,,, I will close it down after x amount of profit or x amount of loss..

I then turned the charts off as I don't want to see what the market does.. but sometimes I keep them open for a bit... tsk tsk

Today was one of those days.. I hit my target so there is no need to trade further and give anything back.

But no sooner had I close my last trade it was the new hour 10:00 New York and the 1 hour and specifically the 4-Hour rotation... Which can be some of the best setups..

And today I saw the 9:4515-minute form a nice hammer at the bottom of the daily price action and then a beautiful 5 minute pin.. someone's telling me to buy at the low...Did I listen ???

And I sat there looking at it like a kid in a candy store with a wallet full of money.. and I said no stick to your guns.

And now of course I deal with the fomo the greed and all the shit that gets me..

Now my greed is playing games in my mind saying maybe I should change the way I trade...

Everyday is a battle of the mind to stay disciplined and follow the rules..

5min pin 10:05 am 34595 now at 34740...

Maybe a small runner hmmm

Driving me nuts to see money laying on the ground and I don't pick it up !!?? 1% better everyday sometimes seems slow !

Yep that was the move ...
2pm NY in a few minutes... will there be the 2pm reversal ???

Ahhh all I can say is this,,, I'm staying out !!!

"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride"

Cheers !

Hi Dave,
It was late at night last night just before bed WHEN I had a quick look in and you either quoted or responded to my last chart posted.
I decided i would post a (long, lol) answer the next morning after bed.
This morning while I was pondering how best to answer you I cannot find that post.

Did you DELETE your post yet again ?

As I remember it, you mentioned something like our charts & styles are similar ?

I won't get involved in your "post then delete" games Dave, I have too much else going on hahaaa, but this is the best I can do answer your deleted question.

Styles similar = YES .... (we both trade our stations to stations or part-therof in between)
Descriptions = NO
(you use a hard coded maths lines that would attract other murrey maths traders to enter or remove their liquidity at those points
I use market attractors that would entice the addition or removal of liquidity at those often used points by a different range of traders
ie Monthly PPs may be of interest to institutions or longer term positional players in how they defend or attack their orders
ie Weekly PPs may be of interest to overnight Swing Traders,
Day PPs for intraday run traders or scalpers
ie Prior Session Opens London / NY are where new liquidity had entered before, and may well be a reference point for the market to return to
ie round numbers might be well watched by a range of traders also

When a confluence occurs of multi attractors in a close zone then I take extra notice.

My method is NOT better than yours or ANYONE ELSES Dave I am not saying that, just its how I anotate my charts is all.

And to give an example of why my attractor lines do NOT mean just to buy or sell, Andy/Moody and I the other day were playing around on a Trade Simulator from a past history chart where we didn't know the outcome (tho it had ALREADY happended in the past lol) and one of us chose a BUY at a zone and the other a SELL.
We BOTH ended up with simulated winning trades around that zone.
Something to think about we both said.

There is NO right or wrong way to trade and no method, style that is better. IMO.
Everything we utilise works 50% (approx) of the time, imho. ALL the indis & methods (the whole 10,000) on FF lol imho.

The deciding factor of success or otherwise in trading is STILL (imho) .....
US, YOU.
And not the market itself, which just chugs along in its own sweet way.

All the best Dave and to ALL today folks, trade safe, trade well (and TP).

So how long before you delete this post........&others, clocks ticking............

If you bother to show how you tarde your coloured lines, then people here might take an interest.

Posting videos is laziness on your part. Not interested as you can't be bothered.

{quote} A bit psychedelic for me, I like Gainsboro background as opposed to white or black background, Candles should be bold & sticking right out at you. After all that's what matters in this game. Me-thinks.

Hey Shabs,

I agree the greyish backgrounds are better. I like to use different colours at times if feeling a bit tired. At night here (yes London and NY) it can be hard with the blue light filter being orangish and grey backgrounds are a bit hard on the eye especially at 2am. A bit like looking at oil on a red background as in the pic below.

Hi V,

I offer you this information with great trepidation hahaaa .

PLEASE use indicators carefully and only as a roadpmap of sorts. They cannot predict any action for future building of candles, the indi only 'follows' price afterwards.

If you are thinking to use TMAs like George had on his mt4 then I should remind you they were developed from LWMA bands (as I remember them I think).
(indi was called TMA-true and which did NOT repaint like the original TMA indicators in regards to using them functionally for backtesting or back-visual purposes).

I do not use TView but I am sure there will be an MA option as an LWMA where you can incorporate a "minimum" of three bands (one high, one middle, one low).

Tread carefully when trading always V, the indis are not the holy grail (imho).

all the best
Pete

Think again

I trade basicly the same time window. But I trade every setup that appears in that time window despite of how much I have lost or made.

Michael Martin - YouTube recommends don't cap winners, maximize them, keep part of position overnight and more. For that you need trade smaller.

In your case you will never make a day x + 1 or lose x - 1.
If there is a setup there must be a trade. Yes you can lose but you can also win. You will never know when run of losses or wins ends.

My stats. 3rd trade after 2 loses makes back on average +$65
and 4th trade after 3 loses makes back on average +$146

It takes a lot of beating to understand whar Blue was saying. Following blanket statements from youtubers is just parr of the learning process.
Whatever one's own rules maybe it is very important to quit while you are green.
