Hey everyone. I have a question, and hopefully this is an OK place to ask it...
Its regarding "over trading", and if that is even a real thing or if it is just relative to your trading time frame... here we go...
I am a new trader (since December 2019). I have a trading plan. Its simple. It involves making just one trade per day off of the 4h charts (forex) with a SL and TP always set at a 1:2 RR and the risk always as close to 1% as I can get each time. Basic, and simple. I came up with this plan so i did not have to stare at charts too much as I have other things going on in my life outside of the forex world...
BUT...
early this week something odd happened... I found myself suddenly on one min charts, using the same rules and making heaps more trades. I talked my self into it saying "one trade a day on a 4h chart is an equal amount of trading as many trades on a one min chart... right??? If I nail this, I will get the same results in a fraction of the time!"
But it was very full on. I have since gone back to my "one trade a day" plan, but I can help but think that maybe there was something in my above thinking, which leads me to even wondering if "over trading" is even a thing???
I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this

Emotional Control. Process, not outcome.
