Disliked{quote} One more question which i cannot figure out from FAQ why is that, rollovers on wednesdays are huge almost 3 times more than on any other day and so if i sell USDRUB at 4.59 PM and close at 5:01 PM on wednesday will i earn that huge rollover? (probably that's not so easy as far as after Russian trading session is closed spread on USDRUB widens significantly) What about weekends, i noticed i get same rollover on weekend as on any regular day except wednesday.Ignored
If you shorted USD/RUB at 4:59pm New York Time on Wednesday and closed the position 2 minutes later, you would earn 3 days worth of interest. Whether that would offset the spread cost is another story. That's why many intraday traders tend seek to be flat by 5pm everyday, so rollover is not a factor in their trading.
