DislikedBackdata: mine goes back only to Feb 17. EA: No I do not have one. I trade gold using a 10 tick renko, or range on a Ninja Trader chart. NT: Free version 7, get free data from FXCM. It might not match tick for tick your MT4, but for strategies and turning point testing it is close enough. I don't have anything to post here, but if you send me your email I will send you my MT4 indicators and if you want my NT indis also. Nothing special, but I like them. KenIgnored
Disliked{quote} Is this version of Renkos working in Build 610? I have it working in Build 604 but I have another MT4 platform that is now at Build 610... anything different needed to have working Renkos in 610? Thanks.Ignored
DislikedThis might not be the right place for this question, but I'm going to give it a shot. How can a Renko candle have a wick that is larger than the candle itself? See screenshot. {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} The screenshot displays either some modified Renko, or it is defective. 1. Every turning brick (brick in opposite direction than the previous one) must leave a wick, which forms a local extreme. It is apparently 3 (perhaps 4) times broken in the screenshot (otherwise the preceding brick could not close). 2. The wick lengths cannot exceed 2 brick distance, otherwise a complete counter-brick would render. What was the Renko chart generator?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi My Friend, it's normal for renko environment, this 'pseudo wick, appear because of the source chart (M1) move to quick and the read/write process of renko builder indicator/EA, can't write the data in the right brick, so the high/low of the wick is actually the high or low of several previous source chart candles. And this kind of wick will show up more often if you set small brick size. You can read more about renko in my thread at trading system sub forum. Hope it help and best regard. MTHIgnored
