Dislikedwhen it is 7 oclock at night in london, it is 2 oclock in the afternoon in new york. as you go towards the dateline( just east of new zealand, it is gmt - something bigger. new zealand is gmt plus 12, a day ahead. oanda uses new york time as far as i know. i had a look at a calendar and counted days excluding sat and sun and the gmt + 2 brokers match up. surprising oanda doesnt even though they are using new york time. new york closes at 5 pm their time which is 7 pm london time(gmt) the brokers are gmt + 3 at the moment because of british summer...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Oanda is NOT NY close as gmt +3 is NY close is when the daily candle finishes. Ask them in chat and they will tell you the same. They are one of the few main brokers that do not have NY charts.Ignored

Disliked{quote} {quote} Hi Jenny, There seems to be some confusion here. It's important to note that the US is currently on Daylight Savings Time. That means New York Time is GMT-4, instead of GMT-5 like it is in the winter. That means MT4 servers have to be set to GMT+3 to display New York Close charts. When Daylight Savings Time in the US ends on November 2nd, 2014 then New York Time with return to being GMT-5, and MT4 servers will then need to be set to GMT+2 to display New York Close charts.Ignored
