hi guys:
as I mentioned in a previous post here, I am testing a live video capturing tool. initial data looks positive:
http://www.forexfactory.com/attachme...6&d=1236961520
when I capture 1600x1200 screen, here is the performance data
A. video temp file is about 2-3MB/min on harddisk
B. after convert to gif animation, about 500KB/min,
I put temp folder on a ramdisk so there is 0 impact to CPU or disk speed.
so basically if you want to trade for an hour, you can just have live capture running at background and do trading, no impact at all.
and if you want to grab part of video as trading platform issue proof, (ask those bucket shops to cover on a lost connection!!)
you only need to process that 1minute of video, not all whole hour video, basically takes <5minutes to output to GIF or AVI.
as there is no trading at weekend, I will have sometime writing a short guide about it... this weekend
I just grab a 800x600 GIF animation of demo mt4 trading video, for a quick look above.
again it's totally free software and free/open source service. it's my volunteer work for benefit trader ourselves
