DislikedI'm a little more than confused.
I've {professionally} traded commodity futures, DX included for > 20 years but only remember the inception of Forex {not Globex} since ~1999 {1998} that is, if you go by the hype...,
Question;
Did you mean you have been Trading FX since 1993,
OR
You have been trading since 1993?
No Slam intended. Just wondering if I missed the boat...Ignored
The first forex dealer that began offering on-line trading for retailers was CMC from London in 1995. Before that numerous Asian, as well as European brokes were already offering retail trading services via the phone since late 80's - early 90's. I still have "Thomson Risk Management Directory", 1995 where most of them are listed in the alphabetical order.
Popular Global-View Forex Forum began operating for forex trading community in 1995 as well.
The first book specifically addressed to forex market was written by Cornelius Luca and published by Prentice-Hall, Inc in 1995. It is called "Trading in the Global Currency Markets"(ISBN # 0-13-293424-8). In his book the autor mentioned the opportunity forex market presents to already existing retail customers.
So, you seem to oversleep the event by a few years.
