This has happened a few times to me recently:
Friend: So what are you doing now?
Me: I'm a trader.
Friend: Oh a trainer, a trainer of what?
Me: No, a trader, as in the stock market.
Thing is though, I don't trade on the stock market, and most people don't understand what the foreign currency exchange is.
So, how do you briefly explain to people what it is you do? Should I just try and pronounce the word 'trader' a bit more slowly next time?
Thanks.
