Ok, this is my 6 months report card for my second year trading live. My account summary is below.
A little background first.
First, a little about me. I found Forex in November 2004. My first year trading live was from November 2005 to October 2006 ... I didn't blow the account, so that was good. I have a job that pays well and allows me to work at home, so I have lots of time to trade and capital to trade with. My ultimate goal is to trade for a living and I’m on my way. I owe my success to the members of FF.
January and February from my first year trading live is blank with Oanda because I was using GFT before moving to Oanda in March 2006.
In this report card, I will talk mainly percentages instead of pips. My goal at this point in my trading is to gain 3% of my balance each month. I will give beginning and ending balances for each month starting from November 2006 to April 2007. I will not talk about how I trade in this report card … I will talk about that after my second year of live trading is finish.
Ok let’s start. As you can see, My trading was all over the place during my first year trading live. I was really trying to find my style. Things really starting coming together towards the end of my first year trading live. To explain the different balances from month to month, I withdraw profits the last Sunday of each month (if there was any profits to take).
