Disliked{quote} Honestly, I don't know. I always believed Spotware was NOT using generic pricing on the demo accounts and therefore that the cheating techniques from MT did not work with cTrader demo accounts. I never tried using them, I can only say the demo accounts "feel" very much the same like the live accounts. How exactly this is achieved I don't know but I assumed the "simulation" takes place on the Spotware side so that brokers cannot manipulate it. Even when b-booking (DD, market maker model, whatever it is called) is used by the broker, the trading...Ignored

Disliked{quote} It depends, MyFF is pretty good on indices (with occasional slippage) but forex it is consistent 0.003 slippage on forex pairs on market orders. They have some algo running on background which identifies account size and apply slippages. I have seen 10$ US30 slippage on 20K (10 lots) during asian market hours when market didn't move and placed same order on 200K account with no slippages. Also if account is brand new I dont see any slippage once profit starts like 10% threshold slippage becomes noticeable.Ignored
DislikedA trade copier is usually an EA which can copy also pending orders from the sending account so why ban placing the EA directly on the trading account? I have been trying to get an answer from MFF about this but in vain. Looks like they just want to do their best in preventing you performing well.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I chatted with MFF support about tick scalping EAs last month because some of the EAs I make place a lot of orders with few points takeprofit and I didn't want to get banned by breaking a rule so I asked what exaclty they considered tick scalping and they just said that I shouldn't worry because their software prevents tick scalping. FTMO on the other side has a 2000 by day restriction to place or modify an order and they send you a warning email that they will terminate your account when you bypass that number if you continue doing it so...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for your explanation. I didn’t know MFF disallows EAs, thought it would be okay to use. A lot of basic trade management tools come in the form of an EA. Update: They aren’t generally forbidden. Read: https://myforexfunds.com/faq/can-i-u...-advisors-eas/Ignored
Disliked{quote} Banned for accelerated accounts though: For Accelerated accounts: EAs are not allowed in this program. The only exceptions to this rule are trade copiers and Risk Management EAs. Accounts you are copying from must also not use prohibited EAs.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Are they still offering instant funding? I thought they had discontinued. Anyway I have to agree with most people here that say its a waste of money. To make 10% profit consistently without experience more then 5% loss is practically impossible I thinkIgnored
DislikedI'm looking at going down the Prop route, but would like a firm that does not time limit.... or long time limit. My strategy can provide a 8-10%/month. But this is not often, so don't wont to waste money on "getting lucky" with a particular month. I have come across 5%ers which has the low risk instant funding, what's everyone's thoughts on this? Or has anyone got any recommendations for any firms that provide the long time frame challenge, and moving forward, whether they have been good with payouts etc. Any help is much appreciatedIgnored
