DislikedLol Anton from Mental FX sounds a lot like Jessica. Not in the best place to be responding to social media comments if you're getting so butt hurt and sensitive about valid criticism. Still failed to explain how penalizing a trader for choosing to withdraw all the profits they've duly earned helps single out the good traders in any way.Ignored
In truth, I really have no serious issues with the questionable draw-down/withdrawal rule or the fact that fees are non-refundable. I am a good enough trader and thoroughly read through everything. There are also many options available other than Ment. I am simply questioning these things that seem unreasonable or unclear, especially as he is claiming to be creating everything with traders in mind.
The point is, if a firm cannot be transparent and elects to respond with presumptuous condescension when legitimate questions are posed, then that lack of professionalism might be an important consideration for traders that are weighing their options. I am simply sharing my experiences. Traders can decide for themselves what is important.
I posted all of these things on FB and was quickly criticized, accused of 'chastising' him and even accused of comparing Ment to FTMO/MFF (which I never once did). Sure, my initial comment came across as sarcastic with the 'seems legit' remark, but that is only because I tried asking him about this before and was given the same kind of dismissive, condescending response.
This kind of, I will call it, 'millennial mentality', where people seem to take everything so personally and quickly become defensive displays an obvious lack of maturity and professionalism. I think that this kind of behavior is truly indicative of a generational gap.
If you cannot take criticism, then you have no business running a company that serves other people. Just my opinion.
