Is anybody out there trading Uranium? or know anything about? World electricity generation data shows nuclear playing a small but growing role since 2011 (source) and I'd expect this to continue with the push for greener energy.

From what I can see, options to trade uranium are limited.

CME offers Uranium U308 Futures contracts, which are thinly traded.
Uranium ETFs or stock in producers, but there aren't many public pure-play producers of uranium. (source)
CFDs associated with the above.

Thoughts?

Uranium supplies 10% - 15% of US energy needs. I have been invested for some time. The best way to trade in is well-placed Juniors and some larger-cap companies.

If ETF is your prefered vehicle, from a lower risk I would suggest Managed trust from Sprotts U.U Symbol.

Ignored
Just found your Uranium thread, great stuff! I've been looking for a way to get long, away from the individual miners, and that U.U fits the bill nicely. I plan on opening a position tomorrow morning and adding as the weeks pass, similar to how I treat carbon credits via GRN.
