I came across a documentary on a popular video website about commodities brokers. I have been a stcokbroker but no little of commodities. I learned that " commodities brokers can cause scarcity when the buy certain amounts of a crop whose quantity they might be well aware of in the future as to drive up prices. Some even keep the commodities in warehouses" Not cause for alarm yet, but the "democratization" of large quantities well help to spread the wealth and, potentially, gradually diminish the impact of one sole player.
I know in stocks corporations have buy backs as to drive up prices. How can this be seen in the commodities markets and forex and else?
