Disliked{quote} My position is that traders trading USD/RUB long are, in essence, playing with fire at this point in time, and should exit their positions at the earliest possible juncture. It is clear to me that U.S. brokers will continue to permit the speculation in this currency until Russia totally implodes, so your broker, regardless of who they are, will not protect you and, quite frankly, it is not their job to protect you if you want to continue to risk your capital in light of the well-publicized situation with the Russian economy and the fact...Ignored
DislikedFXCM Just send us an email asking us to exit all USD/RUB and stop trading this pair until further notice, its a blood bath.Ignored
DislikedHello Jason, I am demoing NinjaTrader atm. Question about order size. On NT it says quantity. Is this 1000 the same as 1 on your TradingStation platform which is equivalent to 0.10 on MT4?? Which would make it the minimum trade size. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} A quantity (Qty) of 1000 on NinjaTrader is 1,000 units of base currency (example: 1000 EUR/USD is 1,000 Euros in size). That's also known as 1 micro lot and on that trade size you're risking 10 cents per pip. That trade size is equivalent to 1K on Trading Station and 0.01 lots on MT4. That is the minimum trade size on our No Dealing Desk (NDD) forex execution, since it's the smallest amount that can be offset one-for-one with our liquidity providers.Ignored
Disliked{quote} My charts are running fine. I also confirmed with our techs that there are no issues on our end that would cause your charts to freeze. That's typically a local issue, not server side. Your forum profile mentions that you live in the US. Please call our 24/7 live support at 1-888-50-FOREX and one of our techs can help troubleshoot this issue for you. If necessary, they can even transfer you to the trading desk to place orders over the phone.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks!! One more question, what is the new day start time for NT?? I am in the US. I do have a live account with FXCM. No major problems at all. My reason for considering NT is I use a couple of non-standard time frames along with multiple screens. I appreciate your work here. I van only imagine some of the frustration you may have at times.Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} Please be advised that most Western Banks have stopped pricing USD/RUB. As such, FXCM can no longer offer this instrument to our clients and will begin closing any existing client trades in USD/RUB effective at Noon NY time today, December 16, 2014. Alternatives to trading the Russian ruble directly are discussed in this DailyFX article by quantitative strategist David Rodriguez: http://bit.ly/1GJdwuqIgnored

DislikedWe retail traders don't actually take part in the Forex market. We trade through a proxy just like people did in the 1900s buckshops. Fancy names like NDD are just for show and tell. It is just a virtual market for us and the only connection we have to the real interbank forex market is the last quote.Ignored
