DislikedWOW, I must say I am surprised. Here I go and write down all that info and try to explain how this system was developed ... and try to spark some discussion about long-term profitable trading (not just gambling) ... and don't get a single reply. Probably I should put 100$ (or even hide my balance data) on my account and name the thread "2000% profit in a week" - then i guess i'd have thousands of replys in hours Hehehe, maybe that is also an indicator why 95% traders fail to be profitable on the longer run. I don't knowIgnored
DislikedWow....this is the EA what i am trying to code for. I am a coder and trader, i know this EA must be very complex as it can handle all the possible economy crisis. Until now, I am still thinking on it. Currently I am trading manually with good result. I will follow this thread and see what can surprise me again. lol....Ignored
Dislikedpretty decent gain. Judging by the # of trades and pretty low gain, it's super conservative. I'm sure you'll last long. Your broker must love youIgnored

Disliked{quote} not sure what were you thinking, but you shouldnt be that surprised about the lack of interest, really. fact 1. you made an EA that seem to work for you fact 2. it is not for share, not for sale... cloudy reference only even to the ideas behind to try manually trade something alike fact 3. you admit the forward data not enough yet, and need a larger account to be able to follow it...+ back for fact 2, interest killer, huh? blackjack, or bingo, or jackpot, as you wish! only whatever you won, it isnt interest!Ignored
DislikedI would wery much appreciate any (constructive!!!) feedback. And i will gladly answer any questions or comments! Thx guys, happy trading.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Looks like an interesting system and profitable so far. It would be difficult to offer feedback or make comments without actually watching the EA run in real time. Just looking at stats does not tell much except how it performed over a certain period. Not the internal workings. Since you are not providing the EA (and that is your right, Im not bashing you for it), it is difficult to see the EA's strengths or poss.weakness if there are any. As you did mention martingale, that that may cause some pause for many traders.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hm, so it's not interesting for you if i don't share it? And one full page of basic description is not enough (look post #1)? If you were interested in more detailed ideas behind it you should just ask me some questions about it. Or did you expect just to send you the code for free (or maybe even sell it to you for 100 $)? I don't want to do that because there is too much work involved to just devalue it that easy. You must understand that i can't give you all the details.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hm, I guess you are right since you put it that way. You can't really comment looking at stats. I was just hoping to maybe open some questions and discuss them. I also provided the link where actual trading can be seen live. I will leave this tread alone for some time and see what happens. Probably i will rather open a new one in "Commercial Content" forum in the future since im thingking about opening a PAMM account. The time will tell. ThxIgnored
Disliked{quote} i believe you got it wrong. i gave a general answer to your general question about what the reasons might be behind the lack of interest in your thread. personally, i have read thru the general idea behind posting you, and found that actually it has similarity on something i work on, namely a limited/soft martingale approach, that controls the risk. but i am no EA person, know nothing about programming, thus can give you no questions regarding those. as for the money management and the martingale aspect, as well as 'no trade' time...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Looking at your trade list in the explorer I tried to get an idea how your EA works. I can only make a guess. Seems you open multiple trades at same level sometimes with equal lot size but some different. Some were .01 others .02 or .03. If the price moves against you, you add to the position sometimes with larger lot and sometimes the same. Guessing this is your modified martingale strategy and the unknown is how you pick the pairs and the initial lot size to use? Most trades were closed at a certain level for a small gain or loss. So I...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Actually you are quite right Pairs and initial lot sizes are not picked randomly. Everything this EA does is calculated based on 10yrs history, so for every pair and every timeframe it has different settings for initial position (and size increasing scale with every next position). You would be surprised how much pairs and timeframes are different one to another. That is why I believe that no EA can be succesful if it uses the same settings for different pairs.Ignored
