Do options contracts move the market? If so, how and when do they influence price? Say an options contract was created right now (is 'created' the correct term, or is there some fancy jargon that means this?). Would it's creation cause any movement in prices, say if it was a very high value contract? If not, would it move the market if executed? What about if it was never executed?
If options do move markets, is there a way of using this to make trades? Can you look at all the currently active contracts, and work out what their implications are for future prices?
Thanks in advance
