I trade the smaller time frames, so when I'm actually engaged in trading I simply focus on trading and ignore distractions, like surfing the web. I just try to get in tune with market time and lose track of clock time. When I sit down to trade I have certain money management goals that I try to achieve, and I really don't stop trading until my goals are hit or my money management "stop loss" is hit. For me that's usually about 24 - 48 straight hours. So I go straight through - that's how I deal with the London session. I usually sleep in the day when I'm not trading, because I'm on Pacific Standard Time.
If it's really slow I may do some origami or meditate when I take short breaks.
I'm not sure how I would fill my time if I was trading larger time frames.
