I'm a bit reluctant to do this, not even sure it's a good idea, but a friend of mine is in dire need and so I'm going to shed my non-commercial status and offer something for sale.
As you know if you've seen my trading journal thread, I've been mostly an algorithmic trader for the past few years, but lately I've been having more success trading manually, probably the result of years of lessons finally sinking in. I'm slowly moving away from EAs, or at least relying on them less, and I no longer need any help with MT4/MT5 coding (at least for the foreseeable future). For the past year or so I've been working closely with Kefada, a genius coder who I met on this website and he has earned most of his income from working on projects with me. Sadly, that has now come to an end, and he needs to make ends meet. He has started freelancing. You can hire him here (https://www.mql5.com/en/users/kefada). He comes highly recommended by me. Don't be fooled by the new profile there, he's very experienced in building diverse projects, he's good with deadlines, and there's not much he can't do in MQL.
We both agree that trading with a small account is not a reliable future plan for a young man starting his career so he would like to go to school to finish his degree. I think that's a good idea. This is a fundraiser to help him afford his tuition and fees.
In order to make this happen I'm going to temporarily offer up some of the EAs we built together. I'll describe them here in this thread. You can also use this to ask any questions either for myself or Kefada.
The EAs will only be available until the funding goal is reached. The exact amount is TBD. To keep everyone honest I'm going to raise funds for the 1st year of fees, and when that's reached, stop selling, then after seeing some transcripts and proof of registration from Kefada, I'll open up the second year when it's needed. At the end of four years, this thread will close and I'll never sell anything again. This is to protect me, but also you, as too much information, too widely distributed, will surely ruin the edge that these systems exploit.
The way this is usually done is that I show off some proof of how the EA functions, an optimistic trading history, and then you pay for it and take your chances. However it's easy to fake such histories, and I'm reluctant to share much of anything about how I trade or my financial status, with the public. Instead, I have an even better deal.
I'll guarantee the performance of all EAs sold through this fundraiser, and reimburse any losses sustained with the EA up to a maximum amount. That essentially translates into risk-free trading, where you'll either end up with an EA that reliably can pay for itself every three months or so, or you'll get back any money you spent, from buying the EA or that was lost in trading. I don't think you'll ever get such a deal anywhere else, and obviously I can only do this for a limited fundraiser, for a limited time. I don't have any hesitation doing it though, as I'm very confident in what these systems can do, and I use these EAs myself, as my primary means of generating income. They are the unique vision and product of a clever designer (me) and a genius coder (Kefada). They are not the usual sort of junk you find on the MQL store. They have tons of options and can, with some tinkering, be converted to trade quite differently depending on changing market conditions. I will be selling them for far less than their actual value, and for less than you can pay a hacker to crack the MQL file, which at the time of writing seems to about $500 USD.
Currently they are only available for MT4, but if you need MT5, perhaps Kefada will be willing to make a conversion for you, possibly for an additional fee.
The buyer will get a brief, not exhaustive description of the idea behind the system, yes that's to keep the box as 'black' as possible, for my safety. However you'll also get a settings file and instructions for how to use the EA. Both of these must be closely followed in order to qualify for the money-back guarantee. Any deviation or 'seat of the pants' trading will disqualify you from the offer, that's just for my protection, to avoid scammers, etc.
Of course, I encourage experimenting with the settings on a demo account. I think you could probably spend a good part of your lifetime fully exploring and testing everything these algos can do.
If that's not enough to convince anyone, though it surely must be, for anyone who buys an EA, I will also put you on the list to receive, free of charge, my book about trading, which will never be published or offered for sale. It will contain everything I've learned from trading on my own as well as the most useful bits of info I've learned from reading trading books and doing experiments on the trading book club (https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/993609-the-finance-book-club). I've been gathering notes for it for years, but I won't guarantee a release date - next year is maybe not a bad goal to shoot for, I don't know.
update 1: Kefada has shared his school fees structure.
Goal: first semester tuition and fees, estimated at $5,000.
EA cost: $350 USD
Limit: 15 sales. Once those are sold, it will be removed until next year.
If you're interested, send an email to ([email protected]).
The full details will be worked out soon and appended to this post. The descriptions of each EA and the details for how to purchase and qualify for the guarantee will be posted here as well, once the details are worked out. Thanks for your attention. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them in the next update.
