My focus is on reactive trading though I don't find any fault with those indulging in prediction game. It is just that I enjoy the game of watching how auctioneers do their job without accepting a fee and following their tracks.Ignored
Hi simnz, cheers
I am also a discretionary reactive trader and am happy enough that other traders can be predicting market moves.
(I have seen Andy do predictions over a 3-day period successfully with most of his 28 pairs).
I myself use ONE piece of data only (cheers BWilliam for the encouragement, NOT the actual data methodology lol),
and I only use indis to show me from a distance where a market behaviour or structure is changing.
(eg a Fake N Flip is one of those activities that I call a behaviour)
After that I get down & dirty in the guts of the market, sometimes in the washing machine action and attempt to follow the process that is happening NOW,
often utilising targets along the way (cheers George).
Thanks for your excel spreadsheet sir, though I shan’t open it, as then if you knew me, I would be having to spend hour after hour examining & dissecting it
which is the very thing I do NOT wish to be doing now with any forex market data.
Your file would be more suitable to REAL data folk than myself, and maybe you could start a thread directly aimed towards specific DATA followers.
(Don’t get me wrong I am proficient in Excel and ‘a by-product’ of C++ database programming which I usefully employed when I WAS data analysing, on my beloved racehorses, back in the early-80’s to the late 90’s, but with Forex after five years I do my most pleasurable stuff now just visually which suits my lifestyle better).
All the best with your quest simnz.
(edit: sorry simnz I meant your downloaded programmed mql4 stats file you posted )
