Results for 23/24 using the Multi. The latest EA also seems to have the issue of %risk sizing resolved as the losses are around 110 (my demo was 11000 when I turned the V2 EA off) The V2 one had a bad week last week as XAU began rising. Chris wrt ...

Thanks for your efforts on these. Really appreciated. Can you please have a look at the lot sizing issue with this. I had tried the dollar risk setting to 100 but it seems to just use a static lot size regardless of the point risk for the trade

Excellent video Chris - really clear on what the parameters should be. I agree on the BE / partial close idea as quite a few points are left on the table in the example for the FU candle to make the trade a loser. A separate EA makes more sense and ...

No worries, I think there is potential with this method, it's just getting hammered during volatile sessions. I have today implemented the consecutive loss filter as Pandatronix has mentioned as there are streaks of consecutive losses so this seems ...

Update since February 3 when I installed the latest iteration of EA. Over the last days the system has recovered somewhat, but it is still a net loss for me

I've posted the .set file which is the settings Cfudge suggested in post #183. Possible there is a time difference offset between their setup and mine but to me it looks like some sort of trend filter is needed as very big moves don't tend to do ...

These are the results since applying the settings yesterday @Vershise I've attached the settings which Chris has stated in post # 183 as a text file. You can rename this to .set and save it to your ...

You'll need to rename it to .set and bear in mind that this was on the first iteration of the EA. Mixed results TBH and I'd turned it to "Long Only" given the macros in XAU of late

I live trade something very similar to this but only using daily charts as I have other businesses to run. My brokers EOD (UK trader) is 11PM so it takes me around 30 minutes a day to look at 20 pairs, silver, gold and BTCUSD. I haven't time to ...
