Thanks Rifid, Would I be correct is assuming that the first point in GBP/JPY here is not valid due to previous swing point being broken making it a previous downtrend?

Hey G. Still around and learning. The yellow line could be used to trade bounces and breakouts. It may be more effective to trade in the direction of the slope based on the chart you posted
