Terry With Excel I always used Trading Days only. for my Gann / Murrey Charts ( Angles, Support and Resistance Lines Charts , Circle of Conflicts)

For "anchor points" I use whatever significant Lows generally - more rarely tops at the exception of All Time Highs (ex: Silver) or the IPO point on a Long Term chart (ex: Meta / Facebook) or the first point of the available Data Series

I try very hard NOT to use " complex" tools because my experience is most people do have already a lot of difficulties to master the Division by 8 of a Price Range and the difference between a 45° Angle and a (1x1) Angle (1 Price Unit x 1 Time Unit)

There is no 45° Angle but a (1x1) Angle because your screen is NOT a Square.

Kwt4x IMHO there is no "Murrey confusion" in the division by 8 of a Price Range to determine key Price Levels. The Division by 8 of a Price Range AND the use of the Halfway Point as a key Factor IS definitely a Gann Tool, even if I never saw a Gann ...
