That would be very helpful as 8pm is the kid's bedtime. (Will still post my notes when I get time to fully finish and go through all the videos - comment in earlier post).
Trading with Deadly Accuracy

I would liken martingales to using a land mine as a paper weight - it might be helpful in the short term if you are careful, but it will only end in tears in the long term.
Does the martingale system really work?

That was my first trade with this strategy, bit of a bumpy ride for the first few waves, but then 34 pips profit for a risk of ~20 pips. Much better profit now, but at the time that I placed the trade I did not want to risk the bounce from the ...

Not sure that it is true, at least I hope not otherwise I am wasting my time. You definitely can predict some trends, but whether they are sufficiently distinct and certain to make a living at the kind of risk you are happy with is a different ...

I think the best newbies like us can hope for is to be informed what does not work rather than what definitely does. On that road we need to tread with some humility in the presence of those with more knowledge and experience. Good luck
Flag trading the trend

The reason that some like me may wonder whether it is still working is the lack of recent activity which would be consistent with a system which had shown potential in the short term, but in the long term had not. Not that I am not saying that this ...

One possibility, but I took the original question in the spirit of "is this still a viable trading method that it is worth spending time to learn?". As such they will still need to do a lot of learning. Of course there are always those who want ...

Again, which bit not really, the question over positive expectation or the open / close difference? Have read the answer several times and still not sure what a "float in sum" is.
Does the martingale system really work?

What exactly depends, whether martingale alone can make positive expectation or whether in the example it can? I don't see any obvious significant difference to the final outcome whether it is closed or open as described.
Does the martingale system really work?

Maybe we need to define the question a bit more. If by "Does the martingale system really work?" we mean : does it provide a means to scale positions to recover previous losses in the short term then it clearly does work in this manner. However, I ...

I agree that trading should be logic rather than a gamble. Personally I don't gamble unless I know the odds are in my favour. Hence Las Vegas had no attraction to me apart from the experience of simply being there and watching all the other people ...

I think the point is that they believe it to be logic such as using a Martingale approach will guarentee success. You don't have to look far to find people with some rather strange beliefs that only make sense to a minority of the population. ...
