ziggy replied Jan 31, 2017Several times it has been asked about the validity of keeping the levels in place over several days, we have had a case this afternoon, Dale was asked this morning about why he had left off certain levels and gave his reasoning, a short on AU at ...

ziggy replied Jan 31, 2017Just back in and see some pretty big moves, all seemingly started by the Trumpster team comments regarding the unfair currency advantage that Germany has. At the moment any moves that kick off after around 11:30 up until the major news releases seem ...

ziggy replied Jan 31, 2017Morning all, I won't be around much today as I have a personal matter that I must take care of. I've attached a word doc regarding how you might use Akif's lovely profile tool to help you find levels - this is for anyone who might be struggling to ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017Well I use the levels Dale posts and have a lot to be thankful for, not only is my bank balance improved but so has my understanding and ability to find good trading locations, if you are unable to do the same you could either stick around and maybe ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017sorry Gazillion, I didn't really answer your question. In terms of moving a stop, it's hard not to do that when you are nicely in front, and I've always advocated doing so - but in truth the best total profit comes from leaving them alone. I know ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017I'm actually trading at -20 stop, +15 PT, it suits me as I like to win often, but I'm a bit fluid on it in that if the price action looks strong I'll hold on. To be honest any PT 10 or above I think is good, if you want a hard and fast rule ...

I saw core advertising over to the left of this page at 0.2 plus a $1.7 comm'n, I think that was for an MT 4 acct. These are really good prices to trade at in my opinion. I have a contact at IG from the days when he was working at LCG ...Trader Dale - daily trading levels

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017that's areal bummer, check your broker spread as that could be the reason, you don't want a spread any greater than 1 on UJ, mine is 0.8 and I'd say that's where you should be aiming

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017I'd be happy to short EU if price were to get back to the congested area where our first long was, thought I'd show the slight difference that Akif's profile & tradingview give. If using Akif's profile it would be at 1.0692, and using the ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017Early days but the advantage I see is that on the futures chart any profile that you use is based on true volume traded rather than the number of times a particular location was traded, however will that make a big difference? It's a kind of halfway ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017Brilliant work Akif, I've used your tool looking over many charts now & it is extremely good at finding levels, as far as MT4 indies go it has to be up there as one of the best. The futures markets tend to work in tick levels that are half a pip, ...

ziggy replied Jan 30, 2017there has already been a few answers regarding this, I'll add my 2 cents worth. If you are scalping such as we are here, you would be totally bonkers to have a trade open over the weekend as you simply have no idea what will happen. If you have a ...
