Hey forexfactorians, my broker reduced my leverage without informing me. Initially I was trading in 500.1 leverage. I opened a 1.0 eurchf position and was surprised to see margin $468! I instead of $234. Which means I will be stopped out quick. I contacted support and it took 36 hrs for them to reply back to me and say that to they have restored leverage to 500.1 for that pair only. Is this normal? Am new to forex and I don't know if a broker can change leverage for u without permission.
