The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) reports that in May 2021 the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) presented a growth of 0.20 percent compared to the immediately previous month. With this result, annual headline inflation reached a variation of 5.89 percent. In the same month of 2020, inflation was 0.38 percent per month and 2.84 percent annually.
