Am reverting back to the traditional s/l placement I've always used, which is below the signal candle and not below the nearest swing low which is further away from entry (for longs). When trading 1:1, this makes it significantly easier to hit 1R in ...

Here is an open bounce trade I am in, +48 pips currently. EURAUD, D1, targeting 1R in profit, or 90 pips. Instead of just trading H4, I added H8 and D1. This should in theory increase my possible setups by about 80%. Good trading.

I thought I would share with you my screen setup which allows me to easily look at every pair I am interested in along with every timeframe I am interested in. It also allows me to single out the pairs that look like they are setting up (examples ...

I am pleased that I am preaching to the choir. I am a trend trader, so I prefer the bounce setup to the cross setup. With that said, the cross setup has certain compelling attributes -- explained by Eelfranz -- that make it worthwhile. Below I ...

The vast majority of charts posted in this thread show the cross setup. Let us not forget the other setup that Eelfranz introduced us to, the bounce setup. These can be high-probability trades as you are trading with the trend in most cases. The ...

You will notice in the chart below that the Value indicator that was posted by TheDirtySerb in post 76 is the exact same indicator using the same formula as LT Sigma. I am unable to post the LT Sigma indicator or respond to any questions about LT ...

Divergence: Thank you for providing the three screen shots yesterday. Very happy to see you trading crude at a much better time of day + less screen time. I see more trades than just four in the following screenshot. Which ones are not valid setups?

Here are two examples of a one-bar divergence between price and the Value Chart indicator which was posted in post 76. Obviously, nothing works all the time, but this is something to keep an eye out for, especially if it coincides with price hitting ...

Seneca How often do you scale into a position? I ask because I see that GU earlier pulled back to the WO but missed it by 7 pipettes. Also, you mentioned the two M15 bars of separation on a reversal, but does this also apply to a breakout through a ...

RN's Anyone trading the smaller TFs like M1, M5, M15, and even up to M30, should be aware of round numbers (RNs). They are just as important as traditional horizontal support/resistance points, imo. And whereas yesterday's high/low can appear ...
