Initiated new long $2000R

Closing the trade with about 7R, $7,000 give or take. Happy with my execution though it could have been a little bit better maybe $1,000 more if I took another early exit or played with my position on another 1/4. Exit 1/4 at 1.0857 Exit 1/4 at ...

I wrote 10 lot trades in the title but that was back in the time of low volatility. I needed to reduce those lots to at least half to keep my risks proportional.

After a short that resulted in breakeven, drawdown of $5,000, I got into another short position but only 4 lots. $1,000R. $1,450 realized and $6,000 currently unrealized on this trade. I should make about $10,000 if it reaches targets of 1.0727 and ...

Thanks. That's odd. Is this MT5 too? I hope others can pitch in.

Closed all longs around 1.1020. I go short net short slowly building my pos until I got to 6.2 lots. SL mostly around 1.10355 and 3 lots around 1.1040-1.1044. Adjusted SL after it went in my favor. Risk now capped around $1,000.

So, first trade in after a long while. Glad I had the patience to wait for my setup and hit it when it mattered. I still risked around $1,000 but sized down due to volatility. I scaled in about 2.5 or 3 lots (I don't remember nor care anymore) at ...

After a long while waiting out this volatility, finally a first trade looks like it's setting up. Bought 1 lot @ 1.11878 SL 1.11578. 1 of 3.

Perhaps you can try using volume profile in conjunction with perceived supply and demand zones. Also, I'm theorizing that fresh (untouched or 2nd touch) zones are better to trade than the succeeding ones. When I do this, one strategy I use is to not ...

Does anyone here think we'll have a follow through bullishness on Monday, maybe about 60p up? If yes, why would you think so?

Breaking 1.0815 is a warning for the shorts. I'm just waiting for my EMAs to flip in order to add some more longs. Anyone else using EMA ribbons?

You should have told me way earlier. I started fading too early and ended up averaging around 1.09

Yeah I've started doing that. Thanks for letting me know. May dancingphil rest in peace.

About time. The V recovery in the 5m looks promising. Let's see if we get follow through later and tomorrow.

Ata, you are spot on hitting the 1.0906. How did you arrive at that number?

I don't see much downside at this point. Maybe an exhaustion move down when Powell says something later. We should reverse around 1.0855-1.0875 if not here already. If you look at the 20 day cycle moves, we've already extended close to 240 pips ...

hi bradhouser, Once I purchase this tool, how is it installed in SC? Does it need a license key? Will it work for multiple instances of SC? I see the price is $699, is this a one time fee? What about updates when SC udpates their software to new ...

Hi marecki, I couldn't fully understand your system just yet, but maybe after more trades come in in the trade explorer trades list it will be more apparent. You are taking a lot of trades that gain/lose less than 10 pips. Oanda's spread on USDJPY ...

That will be a great way to understand the strategy better.

I just thought about these questions: 1. When the smaller sized orders have concluded (taken profit), do you repeat the same order? When and how do you adjust your triangle orders? 2. What do you think is the achilles heel of this strategy? What ...
