Notice from Oanda today that the NFA has raised the margin requirements on several currencies, including Yen and Aussie, by 50%. Increased margins on accounts that are heavily into these currencies will inevitably impact the retail trader. Comment?

I'm going to start trading with a 'trailing stop'. If anyone has experience with this procedure and how many pips from entry do you put it on the Eur/USD? Do you use the ATR and if so, at what time interval?.

You may be right, but I got burned today for about 90 pips. I just thought the break over 133 might be sustained till the end of the week. Oh well, not the end of the world. I'm short Eur/USD in another account although still out of the money.
