Steve Is it possible to restrict the number of levels the martingale goes to before resetting. On a backtest of EU second half of last year I started with 0.01 lot and reached 20.48 Paul

Just wanting to guage opinion. I have attached a screenshot for gbpchf. An inside bar has formed. The general trend for quite some time has been downwards and although price has currently broken through the ema this did happen once before around ...

I have been getting reasonable results using a 50% hedge. Therefore I can close at be when the hedge retraces. Paul

Steve The replace after SL hit seems only to work if the SL is hit during the day after the inside bar. Using ST, I have run this were the sl gets hit a couple of times, then the next bar opens (so previous bar is no longer an IB) and the pending ...

Its been a long day so far in work and not wanting to incur Steve's wrath for a stupid point but the ea uses 10080 as the timeframe for weekly charts should this not be 7,200. ie 60X24X5. My apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere. Paul

Guys Having some joy with this ea, however it can come unstuck if there is a strong move against it, either during the day (UK) and especially during news. I am no good at coding but perhaps someone could add either a news filter and or a trading ...

Steve I am using MPTM to manage a basket of trades at the moment but have noticed that it doesn't take swap into account in the basket profit. Could this be added, as far as I can remember I thnk you have added this to some of your ea's in the past? ...

Steve Perhaps Stevenali's idea would work with awesome as it could be set up to always trade long or short??? Paul

I liked the sound of this idea. However, Steve, I placed the 2 versions ea on demo using the recent set files and immediately noticed a problem. Lets say ea1 places a buy trade and ea2 places a sell trade. The market falls therefore ea1 hits sl and ...

Observations so far — Having run a variety of backtests on this on EU since start of the year it would appear that the fh version does not perform as well as the original. Also contrary to what I think we would all think I am getting ...

Steve i hope i have picked this up right but my uinderstanding is in the pic below there should have been a buy trade entered as the price broke through the trend line. i am backtesting this with no trend filter. pAul Edit - I realised that I had ...

esquire thanks for the comments. I have had some good backtests using the rsi trend filter and no recovery. Small amounts of profit but then small losses as well. I had just thought I would try recovery to see what difference it made since it was ...

Recovery — Steve Recovery doesn't seem to be working as normal on this one as each trade starts of with a tp of 100 pips and is never modified to breakeven. Mind you when the trade does turn in our favour the profits look great. Not sure why ...

Steve Since the last update i cant get pippo to take a single trade in ST whereas the previous version was trading away merrily on 1 hr. Paul

Steve Actually it might have done. The open price was inside the IB and the IB closed very close to the open price. As it happens it crossed to above the open price and then subsequently crossed again and the pending would have been taken. I suppose ...

Steve Not sure the delete pending thingy is working correctly. I had an IB on AU this morning. My delete pending setting was 65 mins and it was deleted after 8 minutes. Paul

Steve My understanding is assuming bar 1 is the bar after IB then the pending should be deleted on open of bar 2 if not filled. Clearly then the yellow line can be deleted and redrawn on next IB. Paul

Not sure if the pendings are being deleted right. I manually deleted the first pending in the pic below but my understanding of the rules are that the trade would be deleted after the next bar when it wasn't triggered. The yellow line didn't get ...

Steve I have tried running ST on the latest update but get no trades. Would this have something to do with the time issue of using both server and crim time. I will hopefully get it up and running on a demo later tonight. Paul
