Sorry but this doesn’t work Markets are indeed random. But no MM can coorect that. You have 50/50 chance of going to SL at 100pips or TP at 10 pips. But your lotsize will be smaller at TP100 since you areday closed part of it at TP50. So no. Won’t ...

Thanks for your replies guys, I'm afraid I will have to agree with you. But in the meantime it's fun and I'm profitable. Maybe not for long, but I'm willing to play the game. I have another question, maybe someone can help me out: Using different ...

Not really, you only BUY when CCI is green, and when TRIX switches to green.

Dear Wealthpro, so you confirm that you only trade this on EURUSD and with the 12pip SL? Br X.

Seems a straightforward strategy. Backtestable. Any data on backtests? Br X.

Damn, there was an error (obviously). So this is a no-go.

Can't really find an error in my calculations. Forward testing today (if work allows )

I did not use the indi in MT4 yet. Just manual calculation in excel of RSI and its SMAs. Need to test it further when I get some time. Highly likely there's a formula error somewhere....

I tested BB's in the past. Statistically price continues or reverses more or less 50%-50% after touching a BB band.

Hi FX-Flux, I realise you still have to work on the issue but that it seemed to work in a previous version. Did you (is it possible) ever run this EA in the backtester? Grtz X

If market does nothing, TDI and Stoch will probably not trigger a signal. In any case I would stay out of it, there is one additional rule that says not to trade after small candles.

I wonder if, using Mehdi's daily strat, we should keep our trades open over the weekend? EURGBP is still going strong... I would probably close it if it was real money, but not sure...

Same here, quietly testing out the strategy on D1 charts. Will take some time.

Thanks for replying Alex! Now let's start testing this baby

Hi Sevan, Thanks a bunch for the template! Will install it later tonight. But isn't there an error in the text of the pdf manual? For D1 trades Method 1 should be ON and Method 2 OFF (with the template attached to a daily chart) For H4 trades Method ...

Hi Niki, Took EURGBP too, closed AUDCAD due to TDI flattening. Could you perhaps detail the strategy of the trades shown in your fxbook? Just TDI? Does it mean no attention is paid to Stoch (I guess not) and what about 200EMA? Also Method 1 isn't ...

Yep, I took that one too (demo. With real money I would use less lots since TDI>68). It might also have been a possible trade yesterday (although we were touching resistance), but i started demoing today.

Indeed, SL moves to the low,/high of each 'previous' bar. Good luck with your trades. I will start demo trading too

Hi Ipodbob, that's indeed how Mehdi described it: TP on change of next bar color, or when TDI does not confirm (goes flat, hooked back or cross red), or when Stoch leaves 20/80 area. I guess the idea is to get your profits as soon as you get one of ...

Does anyone have the list of 28 pairs that Mehdi mentioned in post1? My broker has many more. And if you already have X/Y, I guess you don't need to include Y/X...? One more thing: the "visual rule" of the rebound angle of the TDI is very much ...
