How do you know that if its an OTC market? — That's my whole question. How can you tell it was options? Where are you getting the option volume/data. Especially, if the FX Optiuons market is all OTC?

No I trade more often than that. Perhaps you are right. 5% is way too much. After reading the comments on this thread, I'm starting to realize it was probably both. System and Acceptable Drawdown.

Thanks for this. I try not to trade EUR/USD becuase I'm not sure if I understand the background of EUR completely. Please define "clearer pairs". I try to avoid trading pairs with high spreads since my TP was only 30 Pips.

Exponentially Weighted Moving Average = EWMA — yes, that is correct here's how you calculate it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_average#Exponential_moving_average My only question so far is regarding the smoothing parameter.

Lesson Learned... its just the convention — So I guess my research tells me that this is just how the convention has been. And doesn't necessarily depend on importance or AMount of Trade. I do wonder though, if it'll ever be CAD/USD
