Moving from M15 to H4 cured me.

Yes I agree that he is conservative. I will follow your thread with interest.

This is a variation of Dean Malone's Synergy method which I trade. It's a good system. If you use both 5 ema's to create a channel a good place to put a stop loss is on the ema on the opposite side of the trade.

Oh dear. My demo EA tells me that loads of accounts were wiped out this week. Yesterday their own live stats confirmed that, but when I checked the website today they had removed the link. How dishonest. I wonder what IBFX Australia think of all ...

I see no mention of MT4 on the Oanda website.

Well, you know what I mean. Give a trading method to 10 different people and they'll come back with 10 different results. Love Ireland by the way.

2 trades on the pound. Note that the second trade turned against me. There are two ways to exit. You can either wait for a close of a colour change candle and then exit on the open of the next candle. On a 10 pip brick this means you would get ...

First up is the euro for 2 trades. I got out early on the 2nd one as I was OK with my daily total. It may go to R3 eventually. Note that I prefer to use heiken ashi candles. They are 10 pip renko bricks. Why? Because 00 numbers are important psych ...

Get rid of all those indicators. Add the vital ingredient - daily pivot points. Use 10 pip bricks. Wait for body of brick to close above pivot level (for long trade) and enter on the open of the next brick. Watch price action to take advantage of a ...

The commercial version (sRenko) is better because it allows you to anchor the opening price of the renko brick so your charts will always open in the same position. The other version makes charts look different when you launch MT4. sRenko costs ...

Wrong. Try turning the wicks on. BTW the commercial version sRenko allows you to anchor price at the 00 level (or whatever price you want) so that charts always look the same after you have re-launched metatrader.

That's good to know. The fact that I trade profitably with renko everyday is obviously an illusion.

I've been running this on my VPS for the last few days just for fun. It's a big loser. It makes a run of profitable trades and then gets wiped out with one big loss. Waste of time.

Luckily this is only a demo on IBFX. I'm currently down 80 pips on each of 3 sells on TOKYO_HiGBPUSD using the 3 order set file. Maybe it will turn down if it hits the R1 pivot.

This is what I would call a casino EA. Great fun, but very dangerous if you are betting the farm on it. An SL in excess of 100 pips to make 8 pips is totally insane.
- SlushFund replied Jun 10, 2010
Yes. I've been using SWVPS for about 6 months. No complaints so far.
- SlushFund replied Jun 10, 2010
I strongly advise against using VPSLand. They have no idea. They don't answer emails and my VPS was down for 5 days at one stage. Very dangerous for running EA's. And lots of downtime. I do however recommend Tagadab and SWVPS

Thanks. I'd ticked dll imports globally but somehow it was unticked on the EA.
- SlushFund replied Jun 8, 2010
I don't know if this will work or not. I am getting message: NextClose EURUSDm,M30: dll calls are not allowed; 'kernel32.dll'-'GetTimeZoneInformation'

SaintSurfer, I am interested in your EA which I've been running on my VPS with 3 out of 3 wins so far. I've changed the SL to 30 and the TP to 15 and renko bricks to 10 pips which is more in line with the way I manually trade it. Can you provide ...
