Pepperstone server time is currently at GMT+3 : it adjusts to always open/close the day at New York close. Tawada was opening his trades at Frankfurt Open if he trades with Pepperstone.

Thanks to CTrader for following up on some of the suggestions on here. I would really like to see the option to display the price bars/candles on the foreground, rather that have every indicator and line display on the top of the price bars. To me ...

Very happy you have started this thread Gator - I'm a long time admirer but a lurker who intends now to contribute more. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you and your mates (yes, I'm an Aussie, I'm not implying you have a lot of sexual partners...)

I look forward to it as I quite like your platform otherwise. Thanks for responding cTrader.

cTrader can you please comment on my (and others) request for configurable Bid Price Lines and position, stop, take profit lines on charts. The colours you have chosen are garish and too difficult to focus on for any length of time.
- Analog replied Jan 28, 2016
The inability to change the Bid Price Line colour is a deal breaker for me. The vivid red they use means I cannot watch the charts for any length of time, no matter what background colour I use. If they can't allow us to chose the colour, at least ...

I have been thinking about trading the AUS200 CFD. I see that one of my brokers (IC Markets) offers it but I need to look further into the costs to evaluate whether it is viable. I used to trade the SPI200 many years ago but at the time it was ...

Bloody useless - an hour Pepperstone has been off-line now! As if the endless slippage from their Last Look provisions their liquidity provider enjoys isn't enough! I pay $100 to $500 a day in commissions to these useless pricks. I'm over it. Time ...

Do you trade the tick charts as Volman does Rusty? I use some similar techniques to Volman but trade the 5 minute chart. I'm more comfortable and much more profitable scalping the Euro. Swing trading is for stocks imho.

Thanks to all who responded to my questions on EUR and Daily Pivots and thanks for the indicators posted. Much appreciated!
- Analog replied Mar 28, 2015
Thanks kenfen - I'd appreciate that! And yes, I'm quite familiar with pivots but I'm not very familiar with MT4 and especially the various differentMT4 Pivot indicators floating around the interwebs.
- Analog replied Mar 28, 2015
I see that a good number of traders on here refer to EUR/USD respecting floor trader's pivots - especially the daily pivots and support and resistance levels. Can anyone recommend a good MT4 indicator for daily pivots? Thanks in advance....and ...

Market Opening Times — @ GuruKrish Thought you might like to put this indi on your charts to signify when the major markets open (settings are based on northern hemisphere daylight savings times adjusted for the Pepperstone server time.) Good ...

New York close is 24:00 Tokyo Open is 03:00 Of course there are no "official" times like the regulated markets have. If you change your New York close and your Tokyo open as I've suggested you will have a pretty good idea of what the major players ...

I've always liked the Asian session and into Frankfurt and London - different strokes for different folks I guess. I don't like the New York action.

Ok - thanks for clearing all of that up Chris. Much appreciated. I should just assume then that the server will reset and be out of commission from 1:50 to 1:55 server time each day, just to be safe. I know for many people this is no big deal but ...

Thanks Chris: can you tell me on which days of the week the server will restart? Analog
- Analog replied Dec 6, 2010
Chris: you are correct - it was about 1:50 and not 1:30. Can I ask why you would re-set at this time? As an Australian broker, wouldn't it make more sense to reset in the quiet time for Australian traders (and everyone else for that matter) - say, ...
