Remember 2014 before taking this con-artist seriously.

He isn't, he's trying to bring it up.

Hamada's been trying to talk up the yen for months now. Never worked.

Really? Did you say the same thing in Feb? What about Dec last year? October last year?

They are artificially rare. Still it is a first for me to hear someone suggest diamonds as a viable investment.
- Roachling commented Mar 23, 2015
Why diamonds? They have no resale value. Actually they have no value at all really.

It's Yellen.

I would agree ("reversal" is too harsh of a word though, just pullback). It's just the 23.6 fib of this major downtrend. Weekly candle is pretty bullish with very high volume that may suggest this is possible. Still expecting this level to top the ...

They just got squeezed for another 200 pips.

Within expectation, need a better reason than this to buy the dollar at this stage.

It's a pathetic 30 pip move. The pair's at the top of the market and has shown no signs of strength at all for the past week. What's so suspicious about people just taking profit? Especially of course FOMC.

People keep saying the dollar is going to collapse, yet it still has not. If you've been betting against it, aren't you the one losing money as opposed to the bulls? Aren't you the one not winning money by avoiding trading the trend? I hope nobody ...

As a trader I just can't care about all this. Malaysian airlines shot down? Buy yen. Greexit? Sell eur. The reality of the US unemployment is completely useless in trying to make a profit. I can't afford to care because I'm a shit trader and any ...

That kind of world isn't going to happen within our lifetimes. I hope that you actually do something to alleviate the ills of the people you talk about instead of just talking about it. For me, yeah all I care about is the charts.

As far as the workforce goes, they still have a way to go before the FED is satisfied I think. Hourly wages/general sustainability of US workforce was a very important concern when Yellen was testifying to the courts. That said unemployment is ...

If you don't get an immediate reaction that is in line with the result of a news story, better stay away if you're going to stick with that bias.
- Roachling commented Mar 2, 2015
Does the news matter? Do you even know what it is about? If it's as easy as "Oh a red highlighted news came out worse, that means sell" everyone will be a millionaire.

You're wrong. Anything hawkish that Fischer says won't budge the market at all. He is a known hawk, we know this for a long time now. The dollar rallied before he even spoke, no idea what you're on about.

While I'm confused of what exactly caused the USD strength, my confusion is not because of the weaker unemployment. For those that are wondering why USD didn't go down instead since we printed worse unemployment, do some research back several weeks. ...

Just looks like a range with slight upside bias to me. Edit: Similar price action happened between mid December 2014 to mid January 2015. This time just a lot more volatile of course.
