There are brokers out there who offer phone service to everyone, whether you have $200 in your account or $2 million. Those who skimp on this service have no real customer service and I wouldn't bother with them.
It is imperative that your broker has phone option to close or open trades.. If they don't leave them immediately and find one that does. It should be part of your risk management.

All retail platforms will have their issues, so lets not pretend they don't. Even in interbank fx the wholesale platforms have had outages and their budgets are far greater. The only solution is to have a couple of brokers.

I would expect that all of them should use NY close charts. Why wouldnt they ? A trading day starts from NY close in retail land.
I 100% agree with this. MT4 is not a HFT platform . Infact its the worst platform to trade on but it remains popular within the retail community and we know retail traders know best.![]()
