I have done similar testing with great results... For my test I have used 6 units... TP levels were 15%, 30%, 45%, 60% and 75% of the ATR and the 6th unit was the EOD that is end of the day unit to have a chance for trends... The result was approx 8 ...

ATR = Average True Range ... That is a volatility inidcator and usually you can see it at the bottom of the screen.. The graph of it is irrevelant you just need the actual value for that day...

nope... i use 3h to get in/fine tune andv trade w 1d. i do not have much time these days. if i would trade from 3h only i would use 5min - 1h to get in. And no I would stay with the settings. Though I am also using 5/8 ema for "early bird" entries
