jagui replied Oct 25, 2010You're right in absolute terms, I see things the same way in my trading. But that's not how losers think. If one starts to have some consistent success, on average he evolves and start looking for different things than high leverage, such as fair ...

jagui replied Oct 24, 2010You're right. And don't forget the liberal position sizing of Oanda adds to the money management/risk control flexibility.

jagui replied Oct 19, 2010It makes sense to me. If nothing more, Oanda traders are smarter because: - they can use any position size, which is the basis of a correct money management. This point alone can make all the difference. - they use 50:1 leverage max now that other ...

jagui replied Oct 11, 2010I use both Oanda and MT4 and I'm successful. I agree that it's easier to profit with Oanda, because of its free position sizing.

jagui replied Oct 6, 2010Offshore brokers don't have to follow US law. US law is valid only in the US, unless there is a formal agreement between the two Countries.

jagui replied Oct 6, 2010Maybe this is the disadvantage of going directly with only one market maker (db). Maybe FxPro, by using multiple banks for his feed, is capable of showing a better price at any given moment. Banks are the tier 1 market makers.

jagui replied Oct 6, 2010I just played a bit more with dbFX charts, and it was easy to find other stop huntings. I don't know what to think. They're a market maker, they will go for stops without dubts, but I think the 'correct' way to do it is only when the broad market ...

jagui replied Oct 6, 2010Thread name changed — Forex Factory changed the name of this thread, removing the 'dbFX' part, and replacing it with a generic 'broker'. At least they didn't remove the thread, but I'm pissed off. This thread is specific about dbFX stop ...

jagui replied Sep 23, 2010I moved to dbFX. FxPro used to be good, and I said it loudly here on the forum, but now they're messing things up. They only care about their brand in preparation for the IPO.

jagui replied May 6, 2010The things that jump on the eyes is that FXCM and MIG were the most spread widener today. However, the list is not very accurate: today I was on FxPro and spreads weren't as wide as indicated.
Wide spreads - Should this be acceptable?

jagui replied Mar 8, 2010Boston Technologies sucks, everybody knows it. I wonder how FXCM choosed them, it's unbelievable. No other broker but fxcm managed to deploy such a bad mt4 implementation.

jagui replied Mar 5, 2010I think this is an intended delay in reporting the execution to the client platform, to counter the very fast scalpers. I remember some years ago this topic was already addressed here on FF.

jagui replied Mar 5, 2010I'll develop the pivot points indicator when the new version of Market Scope will be available (end of march?). With the current version, it can't be done without messing up charts, see: url
