Fractals, ZZ & the Pissing Dog
-
gg53 replied Jan 10, 2014Magix, 1. The algo is trying to predict SWING points, not ZZ end points. True, For that purpose we are using previous ZZ internal pattern "knowledge". 2. Our produced signals NEVER repaint. Look at the algo instructions. 3. We are not competing with ...

gg53 replied Jan 10, 2014burnssss, The process, until you get a matching probabilities, is as follows (refering to your chart in post #126: Fractals Length --------- -------- [] --------- 6 [] --------- 7 [1] -------- 8 [1] -------- 9 [1] -------- 10 [10] ------- 11 [10] ...
Fractals, ZZ & the Pissing Dog

gg53 replied Jan 10, 2014Magix, Simple, because the probabilities calculations suggests otherwise. We are analyzing fractals pattern within a ZZ leg, then total number of bars, and prediction of "next bar" in opposite direction - BEFORE it happens. G.

gg53 replied Jan 10, 2014crodzilla, After initial surprise - It makes some sense - we are analyzing PATTERNS . G.

gg53 replied Jan 10, 2014burnssss, Your example is Ok, but when you compare it to database you have to note that it always contains at least one fractal in it. G.

gg53 replied Jan 9, 2014Pending Orders and Trading Logic (general remark): If you got a Pending order (with StopLoss) which is not activated yet and the StopLoss of that order was hit, that Pending order should be CANCELED. The reason is quite simple: The Logic that ...

gg53 replied Jan 9, 2014My comments on the EA (Killing Zone EA v1.03) : Thanks Dewey McG & CHJungen for your contribution. But since your entries are based on PRICE and mine are on VOLUME - there is some differences between how I trade the "breakout" and the EA way of ...

gg53 replied Jan 9, 2014Etecy, That method is valid if you are using correlations between currency pairs. But that's not our method...Currency pairs correlations is a different teritory and not always at same percentage for a specific TF. G.
Fractals, ZZ & the Pissing Dog

gg53 replied Jan 9, 2014burnssss, I didn't check beyond step 1, because that one is wrong. The first fractal didn't manifest itself until bar #8 (fractals are paintet lagging 2 bars...). So it's impossible for the algorithm to put a signal prior to that. G.
Fractals, ZZ & the Pissing Dog
-
gg53 replied Jan 9, 2014burnssss, The algo (if done correctly) produces a signal of the predicted trading SWING point. We continue our prediction from that signal, no matter what. The only exception to that rule is cases where the actual (confirmed) ZZ appears far away ...
Fractals, ZZ & the Pissing Dog

gg53 replied Jan 8, 2014burnssss, If you mean by "signal" that algo has decided that all 3 conditions are met (fractals, lenrth, "next bar") - I don't wait and mark that bar with an arrow. G.

gg53 replied Jan 8, 2014Samuelkanu, smallcat, killian, My algo is using ZZ as a "unit" to analyze its internal components (fractals, total length). The ZZ end-point is NOT my target. My target is the most probable trading SWING point. It's true that many times they are ...
