This is a brilliant thread. I have heard of a couple of companies that will supply volume data not tick. It feeds into the MT4

Here is a screen shot of a miss on expected back in April- you could get in on the pullback Plus trading into the event- where the estimate was high .5% m/m which was higher than the previous month, That happened in May

I don't trade this way- but you could try a fixed spreads account But even these may vary- sometimes they will have a day spread, night spread and a spread for releases. Rather than trading the event -you could look at trading into it Canadian CPI ...

With the pound this is called buy the rumour sell the fact. With UJ - there was a miss on wages inflation-estimates had been higher that previous Plus there was a move from Trump's Tax reform program- going into the event.

Perhaps as they were trading stocks there is greater opportunity . But for me this is inconceivable I have maybe 3 ideas a month. It's the bring accountable and writing stuff down that i thought was good. As traders we are on on own

Very valid points. I think writing things down helps prevent me making trades outside of the plan. Also when trading an interest rate decision or need say an election if I need to have done my research
