I just read a few pages on that thread. WilliamA´s system is very very risky. Eats margin as candy; profit can be huge but the amount of risk is equally large. By the way, I still couldn´t figure out exactly how the mGrid ver 7 places pending ...

Last week´s results with mGrid ver 7 — After one week letting mGrid ver 7 run 24/5 on a $3500 account and on one single pair, it earned around $600 (approx. 16% in one week). The parameters were: USD/JPY Initial lot size: 0.02 Increment: 20 ...

Correct me if I´m wrong, but since this system works best in trending markets, I don´t see how using correlated pairs may help avoiding the death trade. If the pairs are correlated that means that they will trend together or range together. It will ...

Flash, would you mind posting what the math of the new coding is? Many of us here would greatly appreciate that and will let us better focus our attention. Thanks a lot. JW, regarding your blown-out accounts, the fact that you´re using a lot of ...

I tried that EA but if I´m not mistaken it doesn´t let you play with the lot sizes, so I left it. I am using the mGrid ver 7 only in one pair to follow how it trades (and not get lost in a sea of trades), but I also cannot be 24/7 in front of the ...

Hi Flash, I am not questioning the logic, but since I really am interested in your system, and this means going live once I am pretty sure it works, I would like to know how it is built beforehand. I am letting the EA work for a few days now, with ...

Thanks, Desi. I noticed though that in some cases when a pending order is triggered, no matching opposite stops are placed. When a first level order is triggered, it does place the three stop orders, but when the second level order is triggered it ...

JW, are you using the same settings on all the pairs? If so, the increment should be adjusted according to each pair´s volatility. By the way, are you still using the original Post#1 size progression (1-2-3)?

I tried a somewhat similar EA on demo and looks good, but it doesn´t exactly resemble the system I described here. The spread is just part of the business, like in any other system. However, with increments of 50 pips on 2- or 3-pip spread pairs it ...

I´ll check the number of levels issue... Please someone tell me what are the lot sizes you are using after the modifications made since Post #1. I still see the problem with the math I mentioned earlier.

Hello ForexFlash, As I see it, the death trade occurs because the way new pending orders are sized is wrong, as I detailed in a previous post. I understand the 1-2-3 sizing was changed to a 3-3-3, but this does not solve the issue. It still doesn´t ...
