it is perfectly logical to me, a false break up from a triangle pattern to the downside... now testing upside... depends on news based on the fact that 30min candle closed with a pin-bar pattern *clearcut* high chance we are going to see bullish ...

really confusing week for candlestick price action traders because all the candlesticks patterns don't work in a normal way, you have to tweak it...... And I say this with evidence, go look at the 4H charts almost all the reversal patterns at key ...

I was trading 4HR, but that was crazy too, all my reversal signals were failing in this market lol. anyway I am out of my longs and back short according to my rules

agreed. I got pretty peeved seeing all my positions go from profit to loss back to profit back to loss back to profit at least 6 times before the massive dropped happened. and each swing was about 6-8 pips it was crazy.

Just a thought - many false breaks, long wicks and pinbars appearing these week on the charts - could be another one here! And since the 50MA is still above the 200MA, there's always a chance EURO will bounce back to hit new highs.

IT was a long term top that was formed on the 3 min charts earlier... Now it looks like a intermediate bottom is forming.
