chamane replied Nov 19, 2009I was trying to find equivalent indicators to use in other platform like Dealbook. I came up with Heiken Ashi (2,30,3,2) for Coral, Gann HiLo (10 or 5) for Cloud, HMA (21) and HMA (34) for Trix. But of course the original is the best.

chamane replied Nov 17, 2009Here is what I was talking about in my previous message. In the left frame, all conditions are met, Coral being crossed after cloud and Trix. Momentum in that case seems to be exhausted and price reversed shortly after Coral cross. If we check the ...

chamane replied Nov 16, 2009image Thanks for answering. I am also trying to meet all conditions, but I get the feeling that the probabilities are better if coral is met first and then the other conditions. In the picture, the first two arrows show what I mean as price is ...

chamane replied Nov 16, 2009Hi, Is there an order to respect in the criteria to be met in this system, like first coral cross, then Cloud cross, and finally trix lines cross? Or could it be any of these in sequence as long as they occur in the same direction? I am using THV ...

chamane replied Nov 10, 2009Sto is overbought in the 5 min chart. I suppose that we could enter short there but it is better to wait for the same to occur in a higher timeframe if possible?

chamane replied Nov 10, 2009Hi sriloba, I have just scanned the majors but I am having a hard time selecting one that I think should be the best option. Many times price has crossed 5ema -1, but one of the indicators does not agree with it, rsi or sto. I selected GBPUSD ...

chamane replied Nov 9, 2009sriloba, You said that you were trading from 0:00-7:30 ET. How many opportunities would you say you can get to try for 30 pips with only EURUSD during that period of time with your strategy? I suppose that some days you don't trade because the ...

chamane replied Nov 9, 2009Thanks for the explanations. Then if the bias is still up on the 4hr, there are signs of trend exhaustion. Maybe it is better to wait for the start of a new trend where all indicators agree and catch a high probability of a greater moves. We'll see.

chamane replied Nov 9, 2009sriloba, Would you please comment on the setup in the picture? Price on 5 min chart is showing a retracement, but there are signs elsewhere (green circles) showing everything is not perfect. Would you enter now? Thanks image

chamane replied Nov 3, 2009Hi, Thanks for your simple strategy. If you allow me, I don't want to complicate things, but once you're in a trade, you can add CCI or Stochastic to enter again when you are in overbought/oversold area compatible with the trend as long as your ...
