I think the jury is still out on whether this is a bear flag or a bullish ascending candle. The upper edge of an ascending triangle should be horizontal (prices touching the same high over several periods). We're not seeing that here..

Great post/recap of the DX. I agree wholeheartedly. Any rebound in USDCAD will end up D.O.A. if the DX is not able to break out of its bearish environment. As such, EURCAD and GBPCAD continue to be the pairs to watch when CAD cools.
