      gold does sometimes run with the dollar, but that is the exception. gold IS still a safe heaven asset but we are not there yet. when gold consistantly start running with the dollar then its time to get in.

      gold going with stockmarket - gold is sometimes treated as a "risk on" trade, when the market is risk-off, dollar rises and all risk-off assets fall. simples.

      taken a short here ish. using support resis trendline as my guide, any support building off this trendline on the 1hr chart will get me out. it will coil here. meanwhile i'm looking for 17363 but would /could expect 17282 as final tp.

      ok this was a fail - but i did get my retracement i was looking for earlier in the week. however, now the 4hr chart is now broken for me and this has already just continued past my "buy" zone. maybe a buy could be found around the red circle?
