ddaytrader replied Jul 28, 2009I can not believe that Gain/Forex.com can get this right, but FXCM doesn't. As for me, FXCM has until the end of August to restore automatic stop loss and limit orders. After that, I will trade elsewhere.

ddaytrader replied Jul 28, 2009Well played, Basber! Congrats! My own week is off to a bit of a slow start. Yesterday, the market went no where for me. I had a SonicR short on the EURUSD that was stopped out for +10 using a trailing stop, and a short on the EURJPY for another ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 27, 2009Keep It Simple, Sonikers! I use longer time frames for support and resistance only! And that means, for me, prior Highs and prior Lows, i.e. the Swing Points. I only trade SonicR entries. In my opinion, if you have to think about it, then you better ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 26, 2009I was playing with it on a demo account. It is quite apparent that this is an attempt to do harm to traders by trying to catch us off guard to the benefit of the broker. There really is no innocent explanation for how terribly this new platform ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 26, 2009That would be up to you. If I really wanted to chase the trade, I'd drop to a 1 minute chart and wait for a pullback to the 1 minute sonic dragon and keep my stop loss within 15-20 pips from entry. Even better, wait for the pullback to the 1 minute ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 26, 2009I agree. I keep a running total of my last 5 week's average. I then know if I had a belwo average, average, or above average week. I would like to maintain a trailing five week average of 200+ pips profit/week. That way, the goal is spread out over ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 25, 2009Rasta, I do not use any indicators other than the SonicR ema band. I do not use 10 ema. Depending upon how you managed the trade, your entry could have been a profit or it could have been a loss. I do not fel it was a Sonic entry. Sonic can tell us ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 25, 2009Again, I would advise against trying to identify and label all waves, from the most minute to the largets. Concentrate on the waves that form the High-Higher Low-Higher High and vice versa on the 15 minute time frame. My opinion is that the SonicR ...

ddaytrader replied Jul 24, 2009But that still does not explain why it is that every other NFA regulated broker who has to adhere to the very same rules is able to provide contingent oco orders while FXCM alon finds that to do so would not be compliant with the NFA's FIFO ...
