benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014Decided to take a look at AUDCHF and GBPAUD while waiting to see what AUDUSD will do. AUDCHF appears ready for a drop, and GBPAUD appears ready for a jump. So, it wouldn't seem likely AUDUSD is ready to resume upward movement...

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014Oh well, more to fall, anyway, as it appears. Wait until the next signal that pull-back is over...

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014Okay, now I REALLY DO want to switch brokers. I checked another broker, and they are showing 8822 still holding as the bottom. 88218 to be exact.

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014My opinion is that 8822 is the bottom of this little pull-back. Low risk, if I'm wrong only 5 pips or so down from here... Will need to clear resistance, though, and start making new highs again...

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014My attempt at humor may have failed, I think. I am also long on this pair right now
But feel free to share whatever you'd like to share, though

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014And no more volatility? And not another touch down on 88? You might be right, the trend looks really strong... Anyone waiting to get in on this, who are waiting for a pull-back might be waiting a while... Currently at the 50% retracement of ...

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014Seeing how quickly bulls have piled on at this level, made me look across the range to see, overall, if either has taken control consistently. If you want to determine when bulls or bears take control in a range, look at who starts taking over at ...

benaiah replied Oct 30, 2014Bulls protecting the 50% retracement level of the range. 50% retracement is always a good place to enter trades with a good R:R whether you are long or short...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014Also, what probably got buried somewhere along the way in our discussions, I do actually agree with you on AUDUSD going lower. I just don't see evidence that it's ready to go lower yet. Guess we'll find out....

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014And just so no misunderstanding, I would wait for evidence in the price action, that it is going to bounce, not just assume it will at some point...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014I would look for a bounce around 8681ish area, give or take 20 pips or so. Of course other areas could offer a bounce as well, it just seems more likely at this level, as key horizontal S/R level meets the bottom of the channel up trend line around ...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014Just my take on this, but I'm not seeing any bearish intent yet with this pair. H1 chart shows the weekly gap (blue area) has held, and price has been consolidating in a bull flag formation (with one failed breakout attempt) which would appear ready ...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014I find it much easier to predict what the price will do on an intra-day basis, or even over several days. I can see this pair is ranging, and I can clearly see the boundaries. I stopped trading it when it started breaking the boundaries. The ...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014I agree. My laughing was at the comment in a post calling today's move a "beautiful move". And celebrating about it. I was not laughing about anyone losing money. In my comment I expressed hope that traders got out before the drop if they were ...

benaiah replied Oct 29, 2014Having traded so long, you probably know then, you really don't know what the price is going to do. I think you may have pointed this out to someone already on this thread if I remember correctly. I was only pointing out what it has been doing and ...
